Look around
A library you can walk through
A Cartmark of its own, holding only homebrew games written by independent developers for old hardware, is being set up so that anyone can look around: the shelves, a game's page, its boot test and its recording, the Status page and the rest, read-only. It is not open yet. When it is, the Look around press on every page of this site goes straight to it.
What you will be able to see
- The shelves and the catalogue, with each game's page: cover, description, which machines it starts on, and the evidence.
- Boot tests as the machines saw them: the recording, the final frame, the emulator and its version, and the words that decided the verdict.
- The Status page, the Results page and Needs attention, as an admin sees them, with nothing to press.
- Nothing of anyone's: no real library, no person, no machine name and no store account is in it. Every game in it is homebrew its authors released freely.
The figures on the Overview switch to that library's own once it is open.
Until then: what the machines recorded
Everything pictured here is homebrew, many of them entries in community game jams. Three recordings, then the final frame of ten more tests.
